I am Sadie Walker, and this is my second year teaching my “own” class. Prior to coming to New Hope, though, I homeschooled my own children for 3 years, led small groups for reading and math at an elementary school, was a substitute teacher in secondary schools, taught Sunday School and Children’s Church, and worked with very young children for lots of years (among other volunteer roles in my children’s classrooms). I have a Bachelor’s in Leadership and Ministry and a Master’s in Global Development and Justice. I love learning about other cultures, countries, and the way people live. I have a passion for working with children and their families and believe strong families create strong communities. Our family moved to this area in the summer of 2022. My husband works here at New Hope, also! We have 2 teenagers that attend New Hope. I love teaching at a place where I get to talk about Jesus with my students!
