Ole Ahlstrom
Secondary History,
MS Student Government Advisor
I started teaching at New Hope during the 2018-2019 school year. This year, I am teaching MS and HS World History, MS US History, Physics, and Electronics. My background and career has been based on applied engineering, using my degree in Mechanical Engineering to work in the semiconductor industry and teach Manufacturing at Rogue Community College, as well as being a part of Public Works for the City of Grants Pass.
My children have been attending New Hope for the past seventeen years - two of them have graduated, and one is a sophomore this year.
My true passion has always been teaching: helping people to internalize the material covered and discover how to think for themselves. Helping to raise up students in Christ at New Hope who are ready to learn how to serve in the mission field is allowing me to answer the call that Jesus has placed upon my heart. It is also one of the greatest joys in my life. I love being able to serve in this manner at New Hope Christian School.
