Laura Grim
6th Grade Teacher
I consider myself blessed to have been raised here in Grants Pass. I graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1999, and in 2004, I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Southern Oregon University.
My husband Eric and I have two boys, Daniel - graduated from New Hope in 2024 - and Nathan - junior at New Hope this year. As a family, we enjoy hiking, cheering for our favorite sports’ teams, spending time at the lake, and snow skiing. Our boys have been involved in many different sports and activities at New Hope (basketball season is definitely our favorite). We attend Edgewater Christian Fellowship.
I began my time at New Hope as a volunteer in the Learning Center, which opened the door for me to accept a part-time position the following year. What a blessing that was! After a few years of working in the Learning Center and also teaching some high school classes, I accepted the position of 6th grade teacher in 2018.
I believe that each new school year is an opportunity to see God work in the hearts of students. I am so thankful to be a part of the New Hope family.
