Christy Converse
MS Science, College & Career Counselor

I was born and raised in a small town in Alberta, Canada, and graduated high school in 1996. I earned my Bachelor of Religious Education degree from Canadian Bible College, graduating with honors in 2000. In January 2025, I received my Master of Arts in Teaching from Liberty University, graduating with high distinction.
My husband David and I have four children who have graduated from or are attending New Hope.
I began working part-time at New Hope in the Academic Tutorial position in 2019 and stepped into a teaching role part-way through the year. I fell in love with teaching middle schoolers and fill the position of the middle school science teacher with enthusiasm.
I am excited to be a part of a school community that desires to see God move in the hearts of our students. I am grateful and blessed to be a part of the New Hope family.
