Josh Walker
Head of School
For many years, I have oscillated between pastoral ministry and teaching, often doing both simultaneously. I have a passion for the things of God and His Word. I also enjoy young people, and my heart is for them to grow spiritually and academically. These passions have found their perfect outworking here at New Hope as we seek to develop Ambassadors for Christ engaged in Kingdom living.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Multnomah University in Biblical and Theological Studies, and a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Concordia University. I also believe that in the 80s I received a white belt in Tae Kwon Do (they give you this just for showing up).
God has blessed me with a beautiful wife, two amazing teenage kids, and a lazy dog. Outside of ministry and school, I enjoy sports and the outdoors.
