Amalia Scaglione

I was born in Mexico City and I taught English as a second language to middle schoolers and high schoolers for 15 years. When I moved to Grants Pass in 2007, I started working as an educational assistant for Three Rivers School District and Grants Pass School District 7.
I am a New Hope parent, my son has been attending New Hope since 3rd grade and he just started 6th grade this year. This school year I had the opportunity to join NH as a staff member, I am working at Mrs. Bouteller's 4th grade class as an educational aid.
I love being a helping hand in the classroom and see the students using the gifts and talents that God gave them to grow not only academically but spiritually as well.

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Isaiah 41:10
